Swanage is a traditional seaside village, it has outstanding beaches, quaint villages such at Lulworth, Corfe and the market town of Wareham. Purbeck is the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. You are spoilt for choice with walking, and their are many historical places such as Corfe castle. Purbeck is also the Eastern gateway to the Jurrassic Coast. This is England's only national World Heritage Site. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door reveal millions of years of the Earth's history. For the family you have Monkey world, The Tank Museum, Putlake Adventure Farm and lots and lots more! You can take a ride on the award winning Swanage Steam train or a boat trip from the pier to Brownsea Island. You can spend the day relaxing on the beach or play a round of golf on one of the many golf courses in the area. The options are endless.
